Soft Top Boards
Perfect for beginners and first-timers. Stable, forgiving, and fun.
1 hour: $150 MXN
Day (9-5pm): $500 MXN
24 hours: $600 MXN
1 week: $2,500 MXN
Professional Boards
Longboards and shortboards for intermediate and advanced surfers.
1 hour: $250 MXN
Day (9-5pm): $600 MXN
24 hours: $700 MXN

How It Works
1. Come into our shop
Walk into Marea Surf School in the center of Sayulita. No reservation needed — walk-ins always welcome.
2. Choose your board
Our team will help you pick the right board based on your level and the conditions. Not sure what you need? Just ask.
3. Leave a valid ID
We hold a valid ID for the rental period. Simple, no deposit needed.
4. Go surf — and swap anytime
Take your board to the beach, to your accommodation, or leave it at our shop.
Professional boards can be swapped anytime.

Which Surfboard Should You Rent?
Not sure which board to rent? Here's a quick guide:
Soft top / foam board — The best option for beginners and first-timers. Wide, stable, and forgiving if you fall. Great for the sandy beginner break at Sayulita Beach.
Longboard — Ideal for intermediate surfers who want smooth, flowing rides. Works well on smaller, mellow days at Sayulita Beach or La Lancha.
Shortboard — For experienced surfers comfortable in the water who want more performance and maneuverability on the wave.
Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) — A fun way to explore the bay at your own pace. Great for calmer conditions and a full-body workout.
