At Marea Surf School, surfing is definitely our #1 passion, but we do offer a wide variety of activities to help you take advantage of all that Mexico has to offer. Pick your favourite activities and let's make it a holiday that you’ll never forget.
Waterfall lover, this one is for you. Let's start off by saying, this waterfall is a secret and will not disappoint. We'll jump in the van and cruise for a couple of hours and then a short hike will take us to this beauty. If you are feeling really adventurous you can even do a little cliff jumping.
The Bay of Banderas is one of the few places in the world that is a natural sanctuary for a profusion of nature and sea life. Included in the package is whale watching, snorkelling and enjoying the freedom of being on a boat in the open water. The best season for whale watching in Riviera Nayarit is from mid-December to the end of March.
CROCODILE BOAT TOUR
Enjoy spectacular jungle scenery and cruise through dense mangrove forest canals. Get up-close with crocodiles of all sizes, turtles and observe an abundance of beautiful exotic birds. At the end of the mangrove cruise, you’ll even have the opportunity to swim in a waterhole.
SNORKELLING IN SAYULITA
Enjoy Sayulita underwater. Put on your mask and let's go snorkelling. Look around because you'll be mesmerized by all the brightly-coloured fish
WHALE SHARK WATCHING
All equipment is provided on board for the whale shark tour including snorkelling equipment, floatation aids and tour guides who are knowledgeable and passionate about whale sharks and the marine environment.
*This tour is only available in February and March
HORSEBACK RIDING SAYULITA
Live the experience on horseback on Sayulita's beautiful beaches. The tour is over an hour. We recommend that you wear long pants and shoes. Let's do it!
MONKEY MOUNTAIN HIKE
Wind through the jungle foothills of the coastal range. Climb through the canyons with enormous rocks and old giant trees. Rise to the crest of the majesty and take in the full panoramic view of the Huichol region. The hike will take around 2 hours!
Coral Island is located three kilometres from Playa de Guayabitos. It's an ecological reserve with a variety of flora and fauna among an array of wildlife, such as turtles, pelicans and booby birds.
Did you say a fire at the beach? Yes, we did. Together, let's enjoy a sunset fire down by the beach. Tell some stories, drink some beers... sounds good?
