Our La Lancha surf experience combines a relaxed jungle beach atmosphere with professional surf instruction. The trip usually lasts around four hours, giving you enough time to enjoy the beach as well as your lesson.
1. Meet at our surf shop in Sayulita
We start at our surf shop in Sayulita where you'll meet your instructor around 1:45 PM before heading to La Lancha Beach.
2. Jungle ride to La Lancha
From there we drive about 25 minutes south along the Riviera Nayarit coastline to reach La Lancha Beach, a beautiful surf spot located between Sayulita and Punta de Mita.
3. Beach introduction
Once we arrive, your instructor will guide you through the basics on the beach, including paddling technique, popping up, and positioning on the wave.
4. Surf time
Then it's time to paddle out. Your instructor will be in the water helping you catch waves and giving tips along the way.
5. Relax and enjoy the beach
After the lesson, you'll have time to relax on the beach, practice on your own, or enjoy the waves before we head back to Sayulita.
