It depends on the trip. The La Lancha surf trip is suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers, with options for lessons or independent surfing. The Bahía surf trip is designed for intermediate and advanced surfers who are comfortable paddling into deeper water and riding more powerful waves.

  • How far are the surf spots from Sayulita?

La Lancha Beach is about 25 minutes south of Sayulita by car. The Bahía surf trip begins with a drive to Punta de Mita, followed by a short boat ride to reach the surf breaks along the coastline.

  • Is transportation included in the surf trips?

Yes. Transportation from Sayulita is included in our surf trips. For the Bahía trip, the experience also includes a boat ride from Punta de Mita to the surf spot.

  • What should I bring for a surf trip?

We recommend bringing a swimsuit, towel, water, reef-safe sunscreen (cream or stick), and some cash if you'd like to buy food or drinks nearby. All surf equipment and rash guards are provided.
